PES JK Patch 2023 Preview (Installation Guide, Lite Version, Full Version, Update)
HOW TO INSTALL
A. Installation UPDATE from 2022 V3.6 to 2023 V1 :
- Run "PES JK Patch Update 2023 Setup.exe" and extract to the game folder
- PES JK Patch Installer will be automatically opened after extraction finished
- Select the update option based on your Documents version, Standard (7) or OneDrive (70) then Enter to Update 2023
- If you accidently close the installer, run the Launcher (PES JK Patch shortcut created on desktop) and press Install/Update button in the hotlinks to open the PES JK Patch Installer
- Enjoy the game!
B. Installation NEW INSTALL 2023 V1 :
1. AIO Mode (Game+Patch) (Recommended)
(Use this when you want to do simple installation)
- Run "PES JK Patch IMG Setup.exe" to install necessary IMG files
- Run "PES JK Patch 2023 Setup.exe" and use recommended program file location (C:\Program Files (x86)\KONAMI\PES JK Patch\)
- PES JK Patch Installer will be automatically opened after extraction finished
- Select the new fresh install option based on your Documents version, Standard (1) or OneDrive (10) then Enter to Update 2023
- If you accidently close the installer, run the Launcher (PES JK Patch shortcut created on desktop) and press Install/Update button in the hotlinks to open the PES JK Patch Installer
- For new user, maybe you also need DirectX, NET Framework 4.0 and Visual C++, you can install these from Installer option (2, 3, 4) (Full Version only)
- In the Launcher, you can change the settings and gameplay configuration to set the resolution, buttons and other graphic settings
- You can also configure which features you want to activate or deactivate in the Launcher
- You can select to play with or without Mini Selector
- Enjoy the game!
2. Patch Only Mode (Patch Only) (Expert Only)
(Use this way if you're expert in PES 2013 Patch)
- You will need Clean Installation of PES 2013 or "img" folder from original PES 2013 copied to your preferred directory
- Run "PES JK Patch 2023 Setup.exe" and extract to PES 2013 Clean Installation directory (No Patch, PESEDIT, etc.)
- PES JK Patch Installer will be automatically opened after extraction finished
- Type 1 or 10 based on your Documents version then Enter to Install the necessary files (option files, registry)
- If you accidently close the installer, run the Launcher (PES JK Patch shortcut created on desktop) and type 3 then Enter to open the PES JK Patch Installer
- For new user, maybe you also need DirectX, NET Framework 4.0 and Visual C++, you can install these from Installer option (2, 3, 4) (Full Version only)
- In the Launcher, you can change the settings and gameplay configuration to set the resolution, buttons and other graphic settings
- If you didnt install in PES JK Patch recommended path, you shoul open gameplay configuration and attach the "jkgame.exe" in the new preferred directory
- You can also configure which features you want to activate or deactivate in the Launcher
- You can select to play with or without Mini Selector
- Enjoy the game!

- Added Fraps FPS Counter tools to monitor the game FPS
- Added PES 2013 Starting Year Tool so you can revert back the year of the game to be able to play your old Master League/Become A Legend in older year
- Added new generic D2 teams so a whole lot more youngsters/wonderkid and more match in D2 Master League (Konami FC, Club ISS)

- Better and harder computer AI, better goalkeeper response (less silly goals), and clearer/louder sound effect (settings editable in gameplay tool)
- Change the Mini Selector base colour to red (to match the World Cup theme)
- Now PES JK Patch will always run with Above Normal/High priority (optimization for multi-tasking user or low resource computer)
- Delete Variation Kits option (not really effective, waiting for the better kit switcher tools)
- Delete FIFA Commentary (have some silent bug, not really important/used mainly and if callnames/callshots have to be patched it will took more space)
- Now the auto-closing of Mini Selector will only close Mini Selector, not the entirety of currently running batch/cmd
- Fix some unreadable faces, team stadium error, and some players error (you can always submit any error you found via submit error/request form)
- Fix PES JK Patch "img" folder load, now you can use multiple patch with original directory because PES JK Patch will load individual registry and path
- Added new realistic grass (HD Turf mode)
- New SweetFX settings (lower the contrast/green, more natural and eye-friendly)
- Rename some PES generic stadiums to real life stadiums
- Now special character/talented youth will be available on both Master League mode (Europe mode and America/Asia mode) so better check it out!
- New some special character on master league youth you must try!
- Replace some batch to exe (safer security)
- Added new adventurous hidden easter egg you definitely should try or you will regret it!
Version 3.6 :
- Fix maximized problems on Launcher, Selector and Mini Selector on Windows 7
- Now Launcher will also be automatically maximized
- Added Launcher Documents Version option in Selector for Windows 11 User that have default settings of their personal Documents folder under One Drive folder
- Added Troubleshoot option in Launcher (option 8)
- Added more help in Troubleshoot notes
- Added Full League Mode that unlocks all available teams, but only for Exhibition Match only, not suitable for any Competition or Football Life mode (may cause crash)
- Change/fix several team's stadium that error in Master League or Champions League mode
- Fix some unreadable face (Chancellor, etc)
Version 3.5 :
- Rename Eredivisie to D1 League and can be switched to Eredivisie Mode, Belgian Pro League Mode, Brasileiro Mode, Primera Division Mode, Liga MX Mode, J-League Mode, and Liga Indonesia Mode
- Former 4 D2 America teams are now moved to main Other America slots
- Reduce the size of D1 League to 6-10 teams with 4 generic D2 teams for each optional mode
- Added new D2 Championship teams (Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough)
- Added new Belgian Pro League teams (KAA Gent, Union SG)
- Added new Brasileirao teams (Santos, Sao Paulo, RB Bragantino, Fortaleza, Internacional)

- Added option for League Mode in Selector for main league played in Master League or Become A Legend
- Added smart League mode option that automatically install the D1 League and D2 League based on the competition chosen (eg. if you choose EPL as the main division, the D1 will be back to Eredivisie, the D2 will be Championship)
- Added new AFC Champions League themes and scoreboard for any Asian League mode
- When you play in any European league mode, Other America will contain 26 teams, Other Europe will contain 30 teams
- When you play in any American league mode, Other America will contain 23 teams (-selected league team), Other Europe will contain 34 teams (+4 Eredivisie teams)
- When you play in any Asian league mode, Other America will switch with Other Asia and contain 20 teams, Other Europe will contain 34 teams (+4 Eredivisie teams)
- Rename all the original Copa Libertadores teams to PES2013 generic teams, so it will not have duplicate teams when using American League mode or strange when using Asian League mode
- Update database (teams, emblems, players, transfer, kits, faces, etc)
- Fix Thomas Tuchel face and hair
- Fix several minor bugs (kits, graphic, etc)
- Added HD grass and turf for all stadiums option in Selector (active by default)
- Added SweetFX by Arrow with tweaked settings by me, you can enable/disable by press Scroll Lock button ingame (active by default)
- Added SweetFX settings options for expert SweetFX settings (proceed with caution)
- By activating FPS Limiter, you will deactivate SweetFX, by activating SweetFX you will deactivate FPS Limiter
- Added GDB Stadium download link (Collected by Counterparts)
- Added more competition scoreboards (Brasileirao, Primera Division, Liga Indonesia)
- Added new UEFA Europa League Scoreboard
- Now Copa Santander Libertadores will be changed to Copa Libertadores (for future different sponsors reason, currently Bridgestone)
- Now Svenska option in language option will renamed to Bahasa Indonesia for easier language settings
- Now radar enable or disable will be selected using Selector or Mini Selector, so the game will be using 1 .exe files
- Added Kitswitcher to change variation of several teams kit (3rd kit, special kit, etc)
- Added Quick-Selector option in Launcher to change the league mode without Selector
- Added Mini Selector to run with the game so you can change some parts of the game without restarting application, by Alt-Esc to switch back-and-forth between the game and Mini Selector
- Mini Selector will close automatically within about 2-3 seconds after the game exit
- Launcher will provide choice between run the game with Mini Selector or game only
- Now Selector and Mini Selector will open in maximizied window for easier navigating more Options in the future
- Just use Alt+Tab to switch back-and-forth between Mini Selector and the running game
- Improve Launcher, Selector, and Mini Selector compatibility in older Windows
- Added Portable options to make portable gaming easier on new computer (install registry, install user option file and data, backup user option file and data)
- Now you can install new registry and option file using Launcher or install user option file and data on new computer using Selector (progress, achievement, Master League, etc)
Version 3.0 :
- Create new AIO installer because a lot of code and system changes since version 2.0
- Rename some files and folder for easier files managing
- Create new code and system for Launcher and Selector that are compatible with older version of Windows
- Because of the new code minimalize the use of "delete" and "copy" code and optimize the "rename" code, the size of the patch is reduced and friendly to the HDD user
- Added troubleshoot and frequently asked questions notes option in Selector (type 97 then Enter)
- You can also open troubleshoot and FAQ by type "help" then Enter in both Launcher or Selector
- Remove "d3dx9_43.dll" from main folder because some computer didn't support it, so better install DirectX yourself or you can try various other method listed in Troubleshoot notes
- Fix and optimize default PES2013 menu option and still patched the graphic in Football Life, CL and EL
- Remove some unused files (preview, notes, etc) to reduce the size of the patch
- The PES2013 BGM is set as default at first install but the Pop BGM is included and can be selected in Selector
- Rock BGM removed and packed as DLC to reduce the size of AIO installer
- Expansion pack is now called DLC for simpler and shorter terms and added custom BGM DLC options
- Added new national team (Jamaica)
- Added new other europe teams (Trabzonspor, Zurich)
- Remove the other D2 teams from extra europe team slots to reduce the data load in FL (minimize error)
- Added back Russia and Ukraine NT and clubs but placed in extra europe
- Added more D2 teams each 7 leagues (Huddersfield, Auxerre, Pisa, Nurnberg, Tenerifa, Feirense, Excelsior)
- Set custom D2 league to new format (4 real+4 generic) for more matches and competition in D2 league
- Added 6 new America teams (The Strongest, Deportes Tolima, Cerro Porteno, Alianza Lima, Penarol, Deportivo Tachira)
- Divide America teams it to 22 teams in main slots and 4 teams in custom D2 America options (+4 generic teams)

- For Indonesian language, select Svenska option ingame
- Added FPS limiter option in Selector (AntiLag) for low resource computer
- Added antilag patched crowd sound in Selector (AntiLag) for low resource computer
- Added Borussia Dortmund All-Star and can be accessed through User Data
- Added FIFA 22 scoreboard by Srya and several new competition scoreboards

Update Version 2.0 :
- Change "Updater" name to "Selector"
- Launcher and Selector are now will asked for administrator permission to make update command run easier
- Move some essential customization/tool/update option to the left, and other addon to the right at the selector
- Added option to clean update files but you must only activated it after all the updates have been installed
- Scoreboard selector feature activated, now you can use scoreboard selector and choose any scoreboards available
- Added option in gameplay tool's scoreboard selector to use default PES 2013 scoreboard (for nostalgia or low resource computer)
- Added option in selector to use basic PES 2013 stadium but still updated name, image preview and adboards (for low resource computer)
